Robert E. Andrejack

Robert E. Andrejack of Taylor died Monday at home. His wife is the former Faith Perna. The couple would have celebrated 50 years of marriage Aug. 1.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Edward and Margaret Tokar Andrejack, he was a member of St. Patrick's Church, educated in Scranton public schools, and a graduate of West Scranton High School. He was an Army veteran, being stationed in Germany. Before retirement, he was employed by Erie Lackawanna Railroad and was a local builder who passed his skills to his sons.

Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Bellevue Rod and Gun Club. Robert died peacefully at home with his family at his side.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for all their kindness and compassion to Bob and his family.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert Andrejack and wife, Lisa, Daniesville; and Edward Andrejack, Daniesville; one daughter, Kimberly Curtin and husband, Timothy, Old Forge; one sister, Deloris Kurtzo, Scranton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Stankietwicz.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Patrick's Church, Jackson Street, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends May call Monday, 4 to 8 p.m.
