Robert Murray

Robert Murray, Archbald, died Wednesday at the VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Francis and Rose Edwards Murray, he attended Arc Day Program for many years. A gentle soul with an infectious smile, he enjoyed going out to dinner with his friends and staff.

He enjoyed working with his hands to disassemble a variety of objects; he also had a well-known passion for ice cream. He will be missed by all who worked and cared for him.

Surviving are a brother, Harold Murray and wife, Diane, Scranton; two sisters, Gloria Spano, Georgia; and Ellen Stepper, Jessup; several nieces and nephews.

A blessing service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
