Rosemarie V. Kline

Rosemarie V. Kline, 83, of Dickson City, formerly of Scranton, died Wednesday evening at Commonwealth Hospice.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Oscar M. and Elizabeth V. Davitt Kline, she was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School. Before retirement, she was employed in the garment industry. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister and was a former choir member.

She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister and aunt, a person of great faith, who cared deeply for others' well-being and happiness. Her sweet disposition and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

She is survived by one brother, Daniel Kline and wife, Shirley, Las Vegas; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Klien; Bonnie and Regina Kline; two brothers, Tony and Oscar Kline; three half-sisters, Rita Boris, Madelyn Burger, and Lucille Yakatisky; and one half-brother, Jack Batch.

The funeral will be Monday from the Edward Knight O'Donnell Funeral Home, 323 William St., Scranton, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.
