Sally Rose Cruciani

Sally Rose Cruciani, 83, of Dunmore, died Monday at home with her family by her side after a long battle with breast cancer.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was full of life. Her passion for sewing allowed her to meet many loyal friends. She was employed at Carl's Cleaners and Star Uniform, a member of Roundwood Seniors Club, 800 Club and UNICO. Sally was compassionate, very charitable and outspoken. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends at the Dunmore Hi-Rise. She was well traveled throughout her years and will be missed immensely.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurse who cared with so much compassion for their mom.

Surviving are a son, Dominick Romano; five daughters, Maria Speer; Donna Romano; Catherine Nasta; Theresa Marciano and husband, Frank; and Camille Minogue and husband, John; 12 grandchildren, with whom she had special bonds; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment, private.

Friends may call Friday from 9:30 until the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
