Sharon A. Correll, Scranton, died Thursday morning at home. She was the companion of Martin Bosack, who was also her caregiver, for 25 years.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stephen and Pauline Ludovici Halko, she attended West Scranton High School and was a member of St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton.
She was a kind and loving sister, mother, companion, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family. She was a devout Catholic and volunteered at and donated to St. Ann's Basilica.
Also surviving are three sons, Richard Correll and companion, Amy, Scranton; Stephen Correll and wife, Amy, Scranton; and Christopher Bosack and wife, Tarisa, Levittown; two daughters, Renee Walsh and husband, Michael, Taylor; and Amie Bosack and companion, Jeffrey William, Taylor; three sisters, Joyce Canavan, Kathy Halko and Carol Clark, all of Scranton; two brothers, Ronald Halko, Scranton; and Patrick Halko, Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Stephen, Emily, Courtney and Tiffany; and a great-grandchild, Kendall.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Correll, in 1986.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carl J. Savino Jr. Funeral Home, 157 S. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton. Interment will take place at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
