Stanley F. Zebrowski

Stanley F. Zebrowski, 91, of Springville, died Monday at Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre, after a brief illness. His wife of 56 years, Mary M. Banko Zebrowski, preceded him in death.

Born July 5, 1922, in Duryea, son of the late Barney and Stephania Zoarski Zebrowski, Stanley loved his hobby of creating beautiful items out of stone to sell and give away; these included clocks, lamps, tables, lamps, coasters and various other knick knacks. He was a member of St. Joachim's Church, Meshoppen. Stanley was a World War II Army veteran, landing on the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day invasion. He was well-loved by his neighbors and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Zebrowski, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; two sisters, Edna Michael, Ithaca, N.Y.; and Helen Grick, Montrose; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joachim's Church, with the Rev. Joseph Manarchuck, officiating. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Auburn Twp.

Visitations will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose. Donations in Stanley's name can be made to the .
