Steve Leo "Buck" Cady, 55, of Hallstead, died Thursday at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre.
Born in Montrose, he was the son of Steve Cady and his wife, Marguerite, Kingsley, and the late Betty Leola Bennett Cady, who died in 2000. Buck ran a small-engine repair shop in Kingsley. He enjoyed paranormal hunting and collecting wolf memorabilia.
Buck would like to thank all his caregivers who assisted him with his struggles with spinal muscular atrophy, which he was diagnosed with at age 17. He was a caring and loving brother who will be missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are four sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Ann Brewer, Birchardville; Donna and John Lesniak, Montrose; Betty Sue and Richard Ainey, Kingsley; and Linda and Danny Bonham, Kingsley; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Chris Cady, Kingsley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, with the Rev. Robert C. Ford of Elisha's Home Ministry, officiating. Interment will be in the Cady Cemetery, Kingsley.
