Thomas M. Keska

Thomas M. Keska passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, after a brief illness. He was 75. He was born in Avoca, Pennsylvania, on September 18, 1937, a son of the late John and Mary (Guzik) Keska. He attended Pennsylvania schools and then entered the United States Army and served from 1956-60. He then attended and graduated from the University of Maryland.

After college, Mr. Keska began his career in the United States Navy as Technical Editor for Naval Intelligence, retiring after 31 years of service. Mr. Keska had a reputation as one of the fastest typists in the country during his military career.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Seminerio) Keska; two sons, Thomas M. (Christine) Keska Jr.; and Anthony Keska; two grandchildren, Thomas M. Keska III and Cesily A. Keska; and his sister, Joanie (late Don) Robbins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Bernadine Eleana Keska, in 2003.

Arrangements made by the Lane Funeral Home Inc., 8622 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y. Services were held on Thursday, January 3, 2013, where military honors were performed at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
