Vincent M. Altmann

Vincent M. "Vaunker" or "V-Mann" Altmann, 60, of Dunmore, died Saturday at home. His companion for many years was Genny C., Rochester, N.Y.

The family sincerely thanks those who have helped Vince when he needed it.

Also surviving are three brothers, Edward, Union Dale; David and wife, Christine, Duryea; and Robert and wife, Karla, Moosic; a sister, Mary "Cissy" Gavin, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore. Interment will be private. It was Vince's wish to be surround by his paintings — therefore, we ask of anyone who has received his artwork to please bring it to the viewing for display.
