William Joseph Connor

William Joseph Connor, 69, of Pleasant Mount, died Tuesday morning at home. His wife is the former Barbara Urbas. They were married 39 years.

Born June 8, 1943, son of the late Clarence and Rose Seney Connor, he was a member of St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. A graduate of Forest City High School, he worked for Western Union International and Moore Business Forms before retirement. He was a member of NEPA Rail Trails and he helped make pirogies at St. James Church. He liked to hunt and enjoyed traveling. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Also surviving are sisters, Kathleen Connor, Pleasant Mount; Mary and husband, James Reeder, Allentown; and Patricia and husband, Scott Mader, South Amboy, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Connor, Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.; brothers-in-law, John and wife, Ann Urbas, Old Forge; and Tom and wife, Rhonda Urbas, Arizona; nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert.

The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main St., Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. Interment, St. James Cemetery, Pleasant Mount.
