William P. McHale of West Scranton died Sunday in Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Scranton, son of the late William P. and Clara Brown McHale, he was a member of St. Ann's Basilica and educated in St. Ann's Monastery School. He was an Army
veteran, having served during the Korean War
. Before retirement, he was employed by Williams Bakery.
Bill was often seen watching his favorite television programs.
Surviving are six children; one sister, Mary E. McHale, Scranton; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Craig.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton, with a blessing service by the Rev. Francis Landry, pastor, St. Ann's Basilica. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
