James Dottle Obituary

James L. Dottle, 86, of Carbondale, died Monday morning at home. His wife, the former Rita Zenewivz, died in 2006.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Louis and Loretta Gentile Dottle. He was a World War II Navy veteran and worked in the construction industry. He was a member of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale, for many years and a member of the Moxie Club, Carbondale.

Surviving are a daughter, Renee Santoro and husband, Frank, Carbondale; a son, Louis Dottle and wife, Kelly, Stroudsburg; two grandchildren, Rebecca Hetzel and husband, Michael, Wilkes-Barre; and Eric Dottle, Penn State.

He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Wilcz and Marie Martines.

A Mass will be at a later date by the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home, Carbondale. No calling hours.

Didn't know James however he had the same name as my father and my middle name. I wish I knew him. I'm sure he was related. So Mrs. James L. Dottle may you rest in peace!
