Eugene Jordan Obituary
Born in Queens, N.Y., son of Eugene Flood and Downgia Jordan, he attended Gershwin High in Brooklyn and Lackawanna College. Known to many as "Smiley," he enjoyed gambling at Mohegan Sun Casino, swimming and playing pool. Truly one of a kind, Troy was a kind and generous person. He was a loving father, son and grandson, who will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are a daughter, Noelle Ruane; a stepdaughter, Faatima Loughney; maternal grandmother, Maggie McRae; paternal grandparents, Sylvester Flood and Ms. Green; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Jordan; and maternal great-grandparents, James and Marion McRae.
A funeral service will be Thursday at noon in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call starting at 10 a.m.
