Ann T. Kolebar, a resident of Hudson, Florida, passed away on April 22, 2016, at Gulfside Hospice. Ann was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Grady Whalen and wife of her beloved husband, Michael, who she adored.
Ann's life was truly an example of her Roman Catholic faith, which she lived out daily by her actions toward others. She loved life and will be remembered for her beautiful smile. She was always there to help anyone who needed her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who do not know what life will be like without her.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Pat and Bob Williams, Rick and Moureen Whalen, Cathy and Steve James, Anita Kirlin, Jack and Bonnie Whalen, Gerry and Frank McCloskey, Lynda Kolebar, Joanne and Jason Sepinsky. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Diane Kolebar.
Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Arthur Whalen; a sister, Miriam McCloskey; and a nephew, Donald McCloskey.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 25, 2016, at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Hudson, Florida. Father Jim T. Ruhlin officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gulfside Hospice, 7210 Beacon Woods Drive, Hudson, Florida; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
