Mary R. Cavalieri Genuario, 83, of King of Prussia, formerly of Scranton, died Nov. 18 at Shannondell at Valley Forge. Her husband of 61 years, Joseph, died earlier this year.

Mrs. Genuario was born in Scranton to the late Anthony and Immacolata "Margaret" Scaramuzzo Cavalieri and was a graduate of West Scranton High School.
Mary was totally devoted to her family and excelled in cooking, baking and sewing while maintaining a spotlessly clean house. She loved shopping and was an avid reader. Mary and her husband were excellent dancers. She thoroughly enjoyed her outings with family and friends. She passed away peacefully.
Surviving are three sons, Mark and wife, Marie, Collegeville; Paul and wife, Julie, Gilbertsville; and Daniel and wife, Rosemary, Gilbertsville; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Maria, Jessica, Joseph, Gabrielle and Domnick; two brothers, Raymond Scranton; and Albert and wife, Rose, King of Prussia; many nieces and nephews; and she leaves behind many close friends with whom she grew up in Scranton and always kept in close contact.
A visitation is scheduled Friday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, Sixth Avenue and Locust Street, Collegeville, immediately followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, East Norriton.
