Ann D. Cocker, Scranton, died Thursday at Mountain View Care Center after an illness. She was the widow of Charles Cocker, who died in 1985.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late William and Madeline Flynn Tarbrake, she was educated in Scranton public schools and was a child care worker at Keystone Community Resources before retirement. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish.

Surviving are a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Noone; two stepsons, Charles and Willard, all of Scranton; two grandsons, Ryan and Adam Noone; and other stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Madeline Flynn, Scranton; and Grace Pancza, Metuchen, N.J.; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, William.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Mary, Mother of God Parish in Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
