Ann M. Burilla, 94, formerly of Old Forge, died Tuesday morning at Woodlake at Tolland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tolland, Conn., where she had lived the past three years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Michael C. Burilla, on June 7, 1997.

Born May 17, 1918, in Old Forge, daughter of the late Thomas and Philomena Di'Andreola Miletta, Ann graduated from Old Forge High School before earning her degree from the former Lackawanna Business School. Before retirement, she worked in data entry for the International Correspondence Schools of Scranton. She was a longtime member of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, Old Forge. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ann will be dearly missed.
She is survived by a son, Charles "Chuck" Burilla and wife, Rose, Vernon, Conn.; a granddaughter, Nicole Joslin and husband, Troy; a great-granddaughter, Gianna Rose; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine; and six brothers, Bruno, Wadie, Albert, Louis, William and Frank Miletta.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with Office of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. Gary J. Mensinger, pastor. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Duryea.
Friends may call Tuesday from 9 a.m. until services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodlake at Tolland, 26 Shenipsit Lake Road, Tolland, CT, 06084.
