Anthony J. Mangano, 72, a resident of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Jan. 26 after a long illness. Born and raised in Scranton, Anthony was loved by countless friends and family members. After graduating college, Anthony moved to Sag Harbor, Long Island, N.Y., where he established Mangano Real Estate. In addition, he taught English at Pierson High School, where he later became dean of students. Upon retirement, he relocated to Calabash, N.C., and finally settled in Boynton Beach.

He was preceded in death by parents, John and Josephine Mangano; and a sister, Anita.

Surviving are his wife, Anamaria; his former wife, Marie; a daughter, Ann Marie Prime and children; a son, Christopher, who resided with him; a brother, John Mangano; and a niece, Mrs. Amy Mangano Moran.

Funeral services were conducted in Boynton Beach, and burial was in Boca Raton, Fla.
