Audrey Hemmler Polley Clark, Hollisterville, died early Sunday morning at St. Mary's Villa after a long illness. She was the wife of Carl Clark. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Polley, in 1994.

Born in Detroit, daughter of the late Fred J. and Nellie Brown Hemmler, she was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated High School, and was a member of the Hollisterville Bible Church. She was a trustee in the Hollisterville Cemetery Association. Before retirement, she had been employed as a seamstress for Rita's Sportswear in Moscow.

Also surviving are a son, Jim Polley and wife, Regina of Hollisterville; a daughter, Elouise Wood and husband, Ed of Drinker; grandchildren, Melissa Geisheimer and husband, Erik of Hollisterville; Jamie Padula and husband, Frank of Hollisterville; Michael Wood of Drinker; Lt. Kevin Wood and his wife, Tonya of Alaska; Amanda Shaffer and husband, Benjamin of Hollisterville; four great-grandchildren, Lauren Audrey and Ryan Erik Geisheimer, Samuel Robert and Jackson Thomas Wood; stepchildren, Barbara Mele and husband, Ralph of Hollisterville; Cathy Bowles and husband, Ralph of Leola; Jerry Clark and wife, Clara of Florida; Donald Clark and companion, Arletta Faulkerson of Moscow; and Daniel Clark and wife, Terri of Florida.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marcelain Reed.

The family would to thank the staff of St. Mary's Villa for the excellent care they provided to their mother during her stay there.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, with services by the Rev. Daniel Istvanik. Interment, Hollisterville Cemetery.
