Carmella M. Ventrone Bulzoni of Scranton, formerly of the Tripp Park section, died Monday evening in the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Her husband of 37 years, Salvatore R. Bulzoni, died May 15, 1992.

Born and educated in Scranton, daughter of the late Nicola and Mary Maroni Ventrone, she was formerly employed by Marywood College. She was a member of St. Lucy's Church, West Scranton.

She was a kind and humble person who will always be loved and admired by her family.

Surviving are four sons, David and wife, Robin, Newton Twp.; William and wife, Theresa, Columbia, S.C.; Michael and wife, Danielle, Duryea; and Matthew, Scranton; two daughters, Carol Gaddis and husband, Mark, Pittsburgh; and Nancy Kennedy and husband, Patrick, Jackson, Mo.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Jen Evon and husband, Joseph, Leesburgh, Va.; and Marie Calpin, Scranton; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grandnephews.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Dominick Ventrone; and one sister, Margaret M. Nicolosi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church, 949 Scranton St., Scranton. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Hours of visitation will be private.
