Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Caroline (Smith) Gawron and the late James Mancuso of Scranton. She blessed the world with three children, Aaron Packer, Elysa Soltis and Jared Soltis; and was fortunate to experience the beauty of hearing five grandchildren call her grandma, Markaila, Wyatt, Abigail, Isabella & Ariela.
Few people get to accomplish their biggest dream and Carolann was able to see hers come true, through her desire to be a mother. From her earliest moments she knew this was her life's purpose, and she put her whole spirit into obtaining this dream. She is remembered by everyone she met as a person who was humorous, compassionate and most importantly a fighter.
In addition to her children, she is survived by her siblings, Amy Gawron of Lenoxville; Lori Mancuso and James Mancuso of Scranton; also a daughter-in-law, Caroline Henry-Packer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mario Mancuso.
Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the All Seasons Banquet Center (behind Greenwood Fire Dept.), 3729 Birney Ave., Moosic, PA 18507. For further information, contact 570-878-9232.
