Colleen Farrell Maloney, 52, of Scranton, died Wednesday.

Born in Scranton on March 31, 1961, daughter of the late Robert and Marita Byron Farrell, Colleen was a 1979 graduate of West Scranton High School. She graduated from Lackawanna College and was employed as a floor manager of Wal-Mart, Taylor.
Surviving are a son, Eric Spreen, at home; three brothers, Gerard and wife, Elaine Farrell, Dickson City; Robert X. Farrell Jr. and wife, Cathy, Glendale, Ariz.; and Kevin and wife, Michelle, Mount Cobb; a sister, Mercita Clelan and husband, Joel, Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Ashlynn Spreen; an aunt, Barbara Sherwood and husband, Robert, Mechanicsburg; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Karen Charchar.
The funeral will be Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Queen of the Apostles Parish (St. Mary's Church), Hawthorne Street, Avoca, with the Rev. Phillip Sladicka officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Avoca.
