Constance D. Jadick, 89, formerly of West Scranton, died Sunday night at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania. Her husband, Harry Jadick, died June 15, 1998. They had been married for 51 years.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Steven and Angela Baczynski Sevensky, she attended Scranton public schools and was employed in the local garment industry before retiring. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cathedral and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Constance was a devoted wife, mother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She treasured time spent with her family.

Surviving are a son, Harry Jadick and wife, Roberta, Scranton; a granddaughter, Lauren Jadick, Sarasota, Fla.; a grandson, Andrew Jadick, Scranton; two brothers, Alfred and Robert Sevensky, both of Moscow; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Steven and David Sevensky.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Leon S. Gorgol Funeral Home, 1131 Pittston Ave., Scranton, with Mass at 10 in St. Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Cathedral, Scranton. Interment, parish cemetery.

Friends and family may call Friday, 4 to 7 p.m.
