Curtis Lesher of Lake Ariel died Friday, March 22, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., following an illness.

Born in Lake Ariel, son of the late Claude and Alice Legg Lesher, he was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated School and was a member of the S. Canaan Free Methodist Church. He was self-employed as a plumbing/heating specialist and was had previously been employed at J.T. Howe Company. He was a member of the Evergreen Hunting Club and was a veteran of the Civil Air Patrol and the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters.
Private funeral services and interment were held at the James Wilson Funeral Home and Tisdel Cemetery.
