David A. Hill, 44, of Scranton, died Tuesday at Riverside Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Myrtle Rosencrans Louis, he was educated in Scranton public schools. Before his illness, he was a self-employed carpet installer.
David was an excellent baseball player. He enjoyed cookouts with his family and friends. Most recently he would be found spending time with his friends at Noones Market. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart and Riverside Rehabilitation Center for the kindness which was shown to David.
Surviving are a daughter, Kayla Hill, Scranton; a son, Ryan Hill, Scranton; two brothers, Art and wife, Michelle; and John and fiancée, Terry, Scranton; a sister and caregiver, Sharon Aulisio and husband, Angelo, Throop; nieces and nephews, Mike, Tammy, Ashley, Sean, Shannon, Antonio, Lauren, Katlynn and Julianna.
The funeral service will be today at 7 p.m. in the Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton. Interment at the convenience of the family.
