Dolores Z. German, 84, of Allentown, died Monday in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit. She was the wife of Carl P. German. They were married 48 years.

Born in Matamoras, daughter of the late Philip and Lucy Mecca Zoppi, she was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena, Allentown. Dolores was in the purchasing department at the former Western Electric and AT&T. She was a longtime member of the Lehigh Valley Couturiere Society Sewing Club. She collected specialty dolls. She was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are a brother, Anthony "Tony" Zoppi and wife, Joan, Whitehall; a sister-in-law, June Zoppi, Allentown; nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a sister, Anna Marie (Zoppi) Coyle; and a brother, Vincent Zoppi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena, 1825 Turner St., Allentown PA 18104. Viewing will be Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
