Dorothy L. Price, Carbondale, died Friday at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness. She was the widow of Robert Price, who died in 1965.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Thomas and Laura Robinson Sweet, she was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Before her retirement, she was employed by the G&S Dress Factory, Carbondale. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Carbondale Nursing Home and Sister Jane Connelly, I.H.M., for the compassion and care given to Dorothy.

Surviving are a son, Robert Price and wife, Jean, Car bondale; two daughters, Marianne Zimorowicz and husband, Frank, Carbondale; and Jean Grizzanti and husband, Tony, Carbondale; two grandchildren, Jennifer Grazino and Sara Zimorowicz; a great-grandson, Jeff Brown; a great-great-grandson, Ryder Brown; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Thomas and Leo Sweet; and a sister, Eleanor McMillan.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, by Monsignor David L. Tressler. Interment was held in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Pallbearers were Robert Price, Frank Zimorowicz, Tony Grizzanti and Rob Jones.
