Eileen M. Reno, 71, of Archbald, died Saturday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Her husband, Francis "Rocky" Reno, died Dec. 3, 2007.

Born in Auburn, N.Y., Sept. 5, 1942, daughter of the late Lewis and Florence Dempsey Conrad, she was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a 1960 graduate of Archbald High School. She was formerly a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas PTA, St. Thomas Athletic Association and was involved with her husband in conducting the Pepsi Cola/NBA Hot Shot Challenge. She was a member of Archbald Centennial Blue Belles and served as judge for the group. She was a very devoted wife and mother who was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She dedicated her life to the priests of the Diocese of Scranton with her strong faith and devotion. For many years she served as the personal cook to many priests who were assigned to Christ the King Parish. She placed everyone before herself and was a friend to all who met her.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura and husband, Ron Cappellini, Aberdeen Md.; and Sandra and husband, David Gromniak, Hunlock Creek; two sons, Joseph and companion, Robin Kordish, Archbald; and Michael and wife, Meghan, Ardmore; four grandchildren, Lauren Cappellini, Brandon Gromniak, Patrick and William Reno; three sisters, Mary McDonnell, Binghamton, N.Y.; Betty McGee, Archbald; and Theresa Fisher, Florida; a brother, Lewis Conrad Jr., Florida; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment, St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald.
