Eleanor B. Grado, a guest at Mountain View Care Center, formerly of the Green Ridge section of Scranton, died Saturday at the center following an illness. She was the widow of Paul Grado, who died 2002.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie Kafchinski Milewski, she was educated in Scranton schools. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church until its closing and a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, playing canasta and quilting, and belonged to several quilting groups. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a son, Paul Jr. and wife, Linda, Lake Ariel; a daughter, Sharon Pearson, Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren, Justin Pearson and Paula Grado; a brother, Frank Milewski, Mount Cobb; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday in Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends may call at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home, Thursday, 8 to 9 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
