Francis A. Cerra, Scranton, died Saturday at Commonwealth Hospice. His wife, Alice Sporer Cerra, died Oct. 29, 2008.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Francis and Mary Labrowski Cerra, he was educated in Scranton public schools and proudly served his country in the Army and Marine Corps. Before retirement, he was employed by Anemostat. He was a member of the Taylor American Legion.
Francis lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo Moffitt, Scranton; a son, Francis Cerra, Scranton; a sister, Mary Ann Hughes, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Cerra, Puerto Rico; and three grandchildren, Stephen, Christina and Jessica Cerra.
The funeral will be private at the convenience of the ramily. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.
