Francis A. Constable, 74, Dunmore, died Saturday morning at home. His wife, the former, Dorothy SanRoman, died Nov. 21, 1999.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Margaret Alice Fox Constable. He was a graduate of Lackawanna Business School and had served honorably in the Navy. He was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore, and before retirement, was owner of Francie Fashions in Dunmore, and also worked at Gentex in Simpson.
He is survived by a daughter, Francine Constable, Archbald; two sisters-in-law, Felicia Bocan and Rosemary Fecina; and four nephews, Jeffrey and John Bocan; and Franco and John Paul Fecina.
He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Fecina.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with a blessing service by the Rev. Joseph Cipriano. Entombment will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
