This is 9-10 months too late on here, but I mentioned you to one of my friends right now and it made me look at this guest book of reflections and actually read them all.
This is still baffling how someone younger than me and a brother (bonded together by scouting) can just leave this world so young. You had so many more years ahead of you Frankie and I wish you could have experienced the rest of life to your fullest, but alas...it was not meant to be. I hope you made the most of the 24 years you had with your family and friends and enjoyed every moment of it--we will always remember and treasure the times we met and spent with you, no matter how short they were.
You, your brother, and father were the brains of Troop 439 in the later years I was in the troop with you guys, and you guys always did your best to make things better and more fun for our troop--even when you had limited resources. I know that carried on with you later in college with taking on more leadership roles. You and Matt were always balls of energy for our scouting activities, and I thank you for all the hard work you did. You made it to Eagle scout in like record time (even before me I believe)--that is something to be very proud of.
My deepest condolences to your Dad, Mom, Matt, and Joe. To Frank and Gina--no words or actions can take away the grief of losing your child while you are still alive, but do remember this--Frankie made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and we are all grateful and indebted to that. Be proud of all the things he accomplished during his short time with us here on Earth--I know he made you both proud to be his parents. Matt and Joe--make the most out of your lives as well, and do not forget to strive for goals that will make you happy and that will challenge you to become better humans in this world.
I am very thankful for the time I had with you Frankie, and the time I was able to say my last goodbye to you above ground at the funeral. I hope to run into you in the next life sometime, give you a hug, and have a beer with you (assuming there is alcohol in Heaven of course) lol. Rest easy Frank.

I have so many good stories about you.
One of my favorites was from one of the last times I saw you. I was at Warped Tour, waiting for a show to start, standing in the middle of a crowd of people cheering for a band I had never heard of. People were shoving, pushing, jumping around.
I looked over to see crowd surfers headed past me to the stage. And there you were, as usual, raising your hands up, sailing by. I had no idea you'd be there, but naturally, if I had to see you, it'd be while you were crowd-surfing. I had to laugh. Of course that would happen. Anyone who knew you would agree.
People who knew me in high school probably doubted I would survive college. I was not outgoing and didn't do well with making new friends, especially in a setting like that. But you went to Marywood too, and you never had those kind of problems. I met so many people because of you. I became someone else through my time around you, and it was someone I'd always wanted to be.
The longer I sit here and think, the more I begin to remember other things that we did. That one time you drove me three hours round-trip just so I could see my favorite band, a band you knew nothing about. Your dominant performances on Scholastic Scrimmage. That one time we made a documentary for NHD that was "too exciting" to win. Of course it was too exciting. You made it.
You really were, and still are, and likely will always be, a literal legend. I've told my students stories about you--they thought I was lying. I was not. You really were just that interesting.
But beyond all that, beyond being a legend and the most interesting man I'll ever know, you were a friend. The thing is though, you'll be around forever, because we all know that you only live as long as people remember you.
And no one could ever possibly forget you.
See ya, buddy. Go find your next adventure. You'll never really be gone down here.

While I have not spoke to Frankie in quite some time I will never forget his individuality. We went to St Thomas More together for many years. I was always excited to have him in my class as he would bring creativity and laughter to even the most boring of days. He was never afraid to be his true self, a trait I always envied. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and hope that his family finds solace and peace in this difficult time.
Sending all my love.
