Glen Edward Cook, 62, of Simpson, died Sunday at Mid-Valley Hospital, Blakely. His wife of 24 years is the former Sharon Bianchi.

Born in Boonton, N.J., son of the late Eastman and Concetta Arci Cook, he was a graduate of Passaic Valley High School. He was a driver for Yellow Freight, Maybrook, N.Y., and had several invention patents. He also worked with Green Wave Energy Corp., California.
Glen had a very large heart. His kindness and generosity touched many. He not only helped family and friends but also any stranger in need. He was a role model and mentor to many through his deep passions of energy conservation and automobile mechanics. Glen also had a great appreciation for music, especially rock 'n' roll, and could be found sporting denim, making wine or fixing cars.
He is also survived by a son, Daniel Cook, Simpson; two daughters, Cemantha Morris Giulian and husband, William Giulian III, Philadelphia; Amanda Cook, Woodland Park, N.J.; a brother, Alan Cook, Fishkill, N.Y.; a sister, Linda Carol Cook, Anderson, S.C.; four aunts and cousins.
A blessing service will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson.
