Harold Kimble, 72, of Scranton, died Monday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He and his wife, the former Mary Ogonowski, were married in 1986.

Born in Dunmore, son of the late Raymond and Jessie Tyler Kimble, Harold was employed by various companies throughout the Scranton area as an armed security guard before retiring.

Also surviving are seven children; a sister, Shirley Verrastro and husband, Joseph; and a brother, David Kimble and wife, Nancy, Old Forge.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Kimble.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1780 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, by the Rev. Peter Pearson. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday. Interment will be private.

Friends may call Friday, 4 to 7 p.m., at the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 602 Birch St., Scranton.
