Harry T. "Bud" Dutter Sr. of Spring Brook Twp. died Sunday in Compassionate Care Hospice, Palmerton.

He was born in Thornhurst on Nov. 14, 1930, son of the late Clare and Minnie Webb Dutter. Bud Served in the Air Force in Korea. After that, he worked as a truck driver, tree cutter and machine operator.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding around the countryside "just looking around." Bud will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda Schlecht and husband, George, Effort; a sister, Martha Rodney; two brothers, Clare Dutter and Peter Dutter; as well as his ex-wife, Ellen Spangenberg; grandchildren Jaime, Katie and Jessy Dutter; and George and Jennifer Schlecht; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Harry T. Dutter Jr.; a daughter, Molly Dutter; a sister, Loretta LaCapra; and a brother, Albert Dutter.
The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family, followed by interment in Spring Brook Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Spring Brook Twp.
