Helen M. Morgan Blume, 93, formerly of Cortland, N.Y., died at Ideal Senior Living Center on Saturday. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Blume.

She was the daughter of the late John J. and Sara Morgan. Helen graduated from Scranton Central High School and worked for the Glen Alden Coal Co., Scranton; Wickwire Brothers, Cortland, N.Y.; Barden Homes, Homer, N.Y.; and retired in 1992 as assistant administrator of Highgate Manor Nursing Home in Cortland. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Cortland for 55 years.
Helen was an avid bridge player and was a huge New York Mets fan from the beginning in 1962.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Ideal Senior Living Center, especially fifth-floor assisted living and Lily Court for their exceptional care and compassion.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sheila Blume, Endicott; granddaughter, Sara Blume, Endicott; grandson, Christopher Blume, Buffalo, N.Y.; two sisters, Marjorie Ash, Clarks Summit; and Janet Stansbury, Clarks Summit; and brother, Robert Morgan, Milford, N.H.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, John G. Morgan.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will be at Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a
