James Robert Klepadlo, 45, of Honesdale, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife of 14 years is Tara Lynn Hess Klepadlo, at home.

Born in Olyphant, son of Thomas S. and Barbara E. Smith Klepadlo, Lake Ariel, he was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. Jim, along with his wife, owned and operated Klepadlo's Litening Auto Care Center in Newfoundland for the past 4½ years. Jim was a member of BVM Queen of Peace Church, Hawley; a former member of the Newfoundland Rotary Club and was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
His family was the most important thing in his life, although he enjoyed playing golf, boating on Lake Wallenpaupack and even cutting grass.
In his business life, he believed that service gets money and that money does not get service. He treated his employees and customers as his own family.
Also surviving are a daughter, Madelyn Grace, at home; two sons, Joshua R. and Jacob J., at home; two sisters, Jacque Price, Avon, N.Y.; and Julie Yuen, Virginia; two brothers, Jeffrey, Colorado; and Joseph, Lake Ariel; and aunts, Bernice Botjer, Patricia Kandrovy and Janice Rohlf.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John, in October.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in BVM Queen of Peace, Hawley. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home, 201 LaAnna Road, LaAnna.
