Jean Romanini, Glenburn, died Saturday morning at the Abington Manor Nursing Facility. She was the widow of Frank Romanini, who died in 1981.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Italia Cenci. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and, before retirement, she was a seamstress at Smart Styles in Clarks Summit.

Jean enjoyed embroidery and making Christmas ornaments, which her family will treasure forever, and belonged to the PKRY Pinochle Club.

The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of Abington Manor for treating her as one of their own family.

She is survived by a son, Angelo Ceccarani and wife, Debbie, Dunmore; two nieces and caregivers, Nora Stracham and Liana Smith both of Glenburn; a sister, Clara Jones, Exton; four grandchildren, Greg Homish, Matthew Ceccarani, Krystal Blepp and Courtney Kilker; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison, Giavanna, Clara and Elizabeth; and numerous grand-, great-grand- and great-great-grand-nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Homish; sister, Elsie Parlanti; and brother, Remo Cenci.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Entombment will follow at the Glenwood Mausoleum. Those attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.
