Jeffrey J. Guyette, 23, of Mehoopany, died Saturday in Dunmore at Hospice Community Care.

He was born Aug. 15, 1989, son of James Guyette of Mehoopany and Faye Headley of Throop.
Jeffrey lost a long battle with cancer on Saturday evening, but it didn't stop him from enjoying life and having future dreams. He enjoyed taking flying lessons at the Skyhaven Airport in Tunkhannock. He had a passion for fighter jets with the hopes of becoming a fighter pilot. He enjoyed his trips to Myrtle Beach and had a love for archaeology and enjoyed cooking. Jeffrey's life was cut short but didn't stop him from touching many lives. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Jeffrey is also survived by his brother, Cody, Mehoopany; sister, Samantha Guyette, Throop; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Faye Gordon, Mehoopany; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Ruth A. Guyette.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at noon from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Pastor Doug Mills of the Lovelton Community Bible Church presiding. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 10 until the time of the service.
