Jennie J. Nardelli Bell, Dunmore, died Saturday morning at Dunmore Health Care Center after a brief illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Adamo and Susie Modesti Nardelli, she was a member of the former Christ the King Church, Dunmore. She attended Jessup public schools and, before retirement, she worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry.
She was a member of the ILGWU, VFW Post 4909, Dupont, and the Polka-Dot Dancers. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and dancing on Saturday nights with her friends. She lived a simple life and had a flare for fashion. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Dunmore Health Care Center for all of their care and compassion.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Monahan, and husband, Michael, Dunmore; a son, Dennis Mecca and companion, Sherri Beltran, Dunmore; grandchildren, Michael T. Monahan, Throop; Kristy Monahan, Jamie Monahan; Nicholas Mecca and wife, Jessica, all of Dunmore; Sarah Cain and husband, Tom, Eynon; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Kues, Olga Gori and Nora Terzoni; and brothers, Victor and Primo Nardelli.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Avenue, Scranton. Interment, St. John Cemetery, Jessup.
