Joseph Vincent Lozinger, 55, of Scranton died Tuesday at Moses Taylor Hospital. His wife is Kathleen Scarborough Lozinger. The couple celebrated 30 years of marriage on Jan. 29.

Born in Scranton, son of Joseph and Carmella Micciche Lozinger, he was a member of St. Ann's Basilica, educated in Scranton public schools, a graduate of West Scranton High in 1976; and Johnson Technical School and Lackawanna College. He attended the University of Scranton. Joseph was employed in the printing industry and in the floral business.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman from the time he was a child. Joseph was a loving and devoted husband, father and son who will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are one daughter, Carrie Lynn Lozinger; and future son-in-law, David Donald Thompson, Dunmore; and numerous cousins.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
