Josephine Russin, 71, of Jessup died Thursday morning at VNA Hospice of Geisinger Community Medical Center. Her husband, Ronald Russin, the love of her life, died in July 2011.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Itali Fofi Nardi. She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School, class of 1959. She was a member of Queen of Angel's Parish, Jessup. She resided the majority of her life in Jessup, having moved from Carbondale in 1978.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who was the rock of her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking and family dinners. Friendship meant so much to her and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to send a special thank you to her friends at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Dr. Wayne Weston and staff; and the VNA Hospice of Geisinger Community Medical Center.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Grizzanti and wife, Stephanie, North Carolina; and David Grizzanti, Philadelphia; one daughter, Michelle Beltrame and husband, Robert, Pittsburgh; six sisters, Louise Taroli and husband, Jack, Lititz; Diane Yanochick, Archbald; Chello Allen and husband, Fran, New Jersey; Julia Mercatili and husband, Pete, New York; Rose Kubus, Forest City; and Lenore Kline, Georgia; five grandchildren, Robert Beltrame, Archbald; Steve and Michelle Grizzanti, North Carolina; Ronaldo and Tommie Grizzanti, Philadelphia; and three great-grandchildren Malaysia, Antonio and Matthew.

The funeral will be Monday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Angel's Parish, St. Michael's Church, Jessup. Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Jessup.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
