Kenneth Meyers

Kenneth C. Meyers, Greece, N.Y., formerly of Scranton, died at home after an illness. He and his wife, Agnes, celebrated their 43rd anniversary in December.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Joseph and Ruth Meyers, he moved to Rochester, N.Y., where he worked at Eastman Kodak Co. for 38 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard the destroyer Johnston in Leyte Gulf. The ship was sunk and the entire crew spent two days in the water.

Ken is also survived by three sons, Sam, Steven and Theron; two daughters, Susan and Nancy; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many dear friends.
