Kim Smith Obituary

Kim Smith, 48, of Taylor, died tragically Saturday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She is survived by her beloved husband, Duane Smith. The couple was planning on celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary next month.

Born in Scranton on Aug. 8, 1963, daughter of Leonard Webb of Avoca and the late Audrey Wiltshire Webb, Kim was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1980. She had previously worked for the Dunmore Health Care Center.

She is also survived by her two sons, Michael Smith and fiancée, Danniell Williams, of Moosic; and Eric Smith and fiancée, Brittany Fenner, of Taylor; four sisters, Cindy Petroshuk and husband, Robert, of Scranton; Bonnie Miles and husband, Brian, of West Pittston; Debra Rozaieski and husband, Frank, of Old Forge; and Penny Kane and husband, Joe, of Moosic; a brother, Leonard Webb and wife, Debbie, of Louisiana; Mandy and Lisa Fenner, who she considered to be her own daughters; many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Sean Smith.

Private funeral services will be Tuesday in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge.

Kim was such a beautiful person. She enjoyed her work at the Dunmore Health Care Center and was loved by all of her co-workers. She will be missed by all that knew her. My condolences go out to her family and extended family at her place of employment.
