Kirsten Felkowski, 18, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of West Scranton, died Sunday morning from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Joseph Felkowski, Pittston, and Kimberly Williams Felkowski, Scranton, she was educated in West Scranton High School. Of the Catholic faith, she was a former member of St. Lucy's Church, Scranton, and was employed as a hostess for Applebee's and as a receptionist at Michael Christopher's Hair Salon, both in Wilmington. Kirsten also had been a cheerleader for the West Side Jets football program and studied tap, jazz and ballet at Dave Ragnacci School of Dance.
Kirsten was our sunshine on a cloudy day. She brought light and laughter into our hearts, and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
She is also survived by two sisters, Marissa Siconolfi, Wilmington; and McKenzie Felkowski, Scranton; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Dottie Shoemaker Watts, Scranton; aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 4 to 6:30 p.m., in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home, 254-268 Railroad Ave., West Scranton, with a Rite of Christian Burial service at 6:30, by the Rev.
