The funeral will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio funeral Home, Old Forge, with Mass at noon in St. Mary's Church, West Grace Street, Old Forge. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Calling hours, today, 5 to 8 p.m.

Lenny, you were a great big ol pain in my butt throughout my teenage years, but I see now that it is probably because of my you and my mother's trust in you that I am here today to say THANK YOU! Thank you for caring about me, for being more than a police officer, but a father figure that went out of your way to make sure I was always safe. I was lucky to have you in my life and I only wish I had gotten the chance to tell you so before now. Unfortunately my mother is gone too soon as well, but I know I speak for her too. May the four winds blow you safely home, my friend.
Mrs. Ash and Lenny Jr. please accept my heartfelt condolences at the loss of such a wonderful man. Know that he will be remembered fondly and missed greatly for all time. God Bless.

Ann and family I'm so sorry for your loss he was a wonderful man who even thou we haven't talked in many years I still looked up to him he showed me the right path in life we had many great times togather I will always remember the words he would tell me and still live my life that way both of yous were like my 2nd mom and dad to me if you ever need anything let me know I will be there

Heavenly Father, Please be with the family of Duryea Police Chief Leonard Ash during this difficult time. Comfort his family and friends and let them be surrounded with the support and love of each other. My deepest condolences are with his family as they grieve. Eternal rest grant unto Leonard oh Lord and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May God bless him and his family in this time of sorrow. Very sorry to hear about your loss. Lenny was a good person - fiercely loyal to Duryea and devoutly dedicated to his family. Having had the opportunity to have him as both a friend and mentor was trully an honor and a privilege. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on the loss of a wonderful person, respected chief of police, and enduring friend. May he rest in peace.
