Lois M. Chorba, 85, of Lansdale, died Saturday. She was the wife of William J. Chorba Sr., who died June 20, 2000.

Born Oct. 17, 1927, in Throop, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Zella Dembrosky, Mrs. Chorba was employed as a cafeteria worker for Lansdale Catholic High School for many years.

She is survived by her sons, William J. Chorba Jr. of Woxall; Paul Craig Chorba of Lansdale; Joseph D. Chorba and Andrew P. Chorba, Franconia; four grandchildren, Christine L. Chorba, Stephen Chorba, Renee Chorba and Andrew Chorba; her brother, Joseph Dembrosky and wife, Joan, Lansdale; sister, Lucille Hawthorne and husband, Wilbur, Souderton; and brother-in-law, Edward Gloss, Long Island, N.Y.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Thomas Chorba; and sister, Barbara Gloss.

Relatives and friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the prayer service at 2. Interment will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Throop.
