Margaret Wolfe Dubernas, 88, of Old Forge, died Wednesday at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Taylor. Her husband Joseph "Buddy," died Oct. 27, 1990.

Born on Jan. 20, 1925, in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Holyinka Wolfe. She was a 1943 graduate of Old Forge High School and a graduate of Lackawanna Business School. Throughout her life, she worked for Thomas Young Orchid, where she acquired knowledge of all types of orchids, and retired as an executive secretary for Chanel Cosmetics. Margaret was a lifelong parishioner of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Church, Old Forge.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Dr. Ken Sebastinelli for his care and concern for Margaret over the years.
Surviving are two nieces, Marie Wolfe, Old Forge, whom she raised; and Cathy Imes and husband, Edward, Ontario, N.Y.; and a grandniece, Sarah Imes, Ithaca, N.Y.
Two brothers, John and Michael Wolfe, also preceded her in death.
Her funeral will be today with Office of Christian Burial with Typica in St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, Old Forge, by the Rev. Gary Mensinger, pastor, and the Rev. Michael Kuchera, S.J. Burial, parish cemetery, Old Forge.
