Margaret M. Moro, 88, Carbondale, died Sunday at Forest City Nursing Home. Her husband is Michael Moro. The couple was married for 66 years.

Born in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Mercedes McDermott Kiegler. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale, and before retirement she was employed in the garment industry.
Margaret enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her children and grandchildren. She loved working in her flower garden.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Rolinski, Dickson City; two sons, Theodore Moro and wife, Patti, Forest City; and Anthony Moro and wife, Deborah, Carbondale; five granddaughters, Jacie Pauloconis and husband, Rob; Samantha Cortese and husband, Corey; Ashley Moro, Gina Goonan and husband, Joe; and Megan Moro; two great-grandchildren, Autumn Goonan and Ava Pauloconis; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and John Kiegler; one sister, Catherine Strians; and one son-in-law, Joseph R. Rolinski.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home, 2 Hospital St., Carbondale, with Mass at 9:30 a.m., in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale.
Interment, Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
