Margarette Capizzi, 83, a former resident of Crossin Towers, Duryea, and a resident of the Meadows, Dallas, died Tuesday.

She was the daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Margaret Kasmer Capizzi.

Surviving are a brother, Leonard Capizzi and wife, Ann, Edison, N.J.; and two sisters, Bernice Kirchner and husband, George, Tunkhannock; and Charlotte Gaus and husband, Frank, Tunkhannock.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Smicherko; and brother, Michael Capizzi Jr.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea, with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea.
